Who We Are
MagiKids exists thanks to the work of dozens of volunteers. Here are just a few of the many passionate individuals who make it all possible.
Jason Egginton
During the daytime, Jason Egginton is a Research Professor in Social Economics at a major teaching hospital. Outside of work, his passion for Magic and giving back to his community led him to founding both Weirdcards Charitable Club and MagiKids.
Matt Decker
Matt Decker is a strategic brand manager by trade, and is an artist and maker of all varieties in his free time (of which there is little). He is an avid fan of the artwork and mythology told throughout Magic: The Gathering.

Our Organization
MagiKids is a 501(c)(3) charity based out of Rochester, Minnesota. Originally a program of the nonprofit Weirdcards Charitable Club, it grew into a separate nonprofit entity at the end of March 2019. For contact information, click here.
Our mission is to educate younger persons and others in how to play Magic: The Gathering, to assist others in such educational activities, to educate persons and entities regarding the societal benefits of games like Magic among youths, and to support other 501(c)(3) charities through the contribution of funds and other property.
